Utility Driven Integrations
CMFI provides a growing list of utilities both natively and through integrations to advance The Compendium Collective's goal of equalizing trading tool availability for everyone.
The CMFI token has several use cases within the Compendium Collective ecosystem. As a native utility, it can be used for voting mechanisms to propose and vote on governance proposals to determine future features, ecosystem incentive grants, and/or parameters of the ecosystem. Additionally, the token is used to link ecosystems together as the common unit of account for all value transfers, ensuring efficient and transparent interaction between supported products and features.
It is critical to note that CMFI should not be acquired for speculative purposes. Instead, the token is meant to be utilized to participate in utilities and DAO governance within the Compendium Collective environment or greater evolving crypto-ecosystem. Users may help the ecosystem grow and evolve by actively participating in the governance process and utilizing the numerous tools available.
Understanding Utility Integrations
Utilities can be broken down into two main categories. Native Utilities are provided directly by the Compendium Foundation and Integrated Utilities are features integrated by applications and can be expanded or changed as the collective evolves.
Native CMFI Utilities
Voting Mechanisms
Propose and vote on governance proposals to determine future features, ecosystem incentive grants, and/or parameters of the comprehensive Compendium Collective Ecosystem.
It is important to note that voting and governance abilities provided by this utility do not equate to ownership in the foundation, collective applications, or greater ecosystem.
Linking Ecosystems
Employed as the common unit of account for all value transfers, to link a network of interfaces for multiple ecosystems together in order to ensure efficient and transparent interaction between supported products and features.
Integrated CMFI Utilities
Integrated utilities are features integrated by applications supported by the Compendium Foundation and can be expanded or changed as the collective ecosystem evolves. All Integrated utilities are also broken down and labeled by the platform in which this utility can be employed.
Any developer or community can build their own integrations for CMFI to help advance the Collective's goal of enabling widespread access and usability of tooling and infrastructure. Check for developer grants and ecosystem incentive proposals for support.
The Compendium Application
Unlock Features
As an exclusive access right, CMFI token holders are provided access to use specific trading tools and programs while currently holding applicable token allocations.
Interaction Rebates
Received rebates on interactions posted through applicable Compendium application products. Fee and volume rebates may be variable dependent on the platform in which the trades are initiated through Compendium's tooling.
This program is funded with approved grant proposals from the Compendium DAO.
Referral System
Users can link a wallet, retrieve a link, and benefit from interactions made by users obtained through network growth systems and initiatives.
This program is funded with approved grant proposals from the Compendium DAO.
Rent Community Strategies
This integration allows users of the Compendium application to pay for access to strategies from community contributors with CMFI. 100% of strategy rentals made with CMFI go directly to the author/contributor of this strategy
This utility is not staking or passive income. It currently allows users of the Compendium application to pay for access to strategies from community contributors with CMFI.
Compendex Trading Terminal
Fee Rebates & Reduction
Wallets containing applicable CMFI allocations receive fee rebates and reductions on swaps and trades performed through the Compendex interface.
Exact parameters for fee reductions can be set and voted on through Compendium DAO governance proposals as the ecosystem shifts.
DAO Funding Initiative
Fees generated from the Compendex interfaces and protocol are deposited into The Compendium DAO vaults for use in further grant and ecosystem expansion initiatives.
Further DeFi Integrations
Liquidity Provision
Providing CMFI liquidity in applicable liquidity pools can help solidify the health of the ecosystem.
Decentralization and Community-Driven Growth
The Compendium Collective has laid a solid framework for the CMFI token's growth and development, but what happens if the Collective's role becomes less direct? The answer resides in the underlying architecture of the token as well as the potential of community-driven initiatives.
CMFI can exist even without the Compendium Collective's direct engagement by supporting a decentralized and community-oriented approach to growth. This strategy promotes extensive access and usage of tooling and infrastructure, allowing users to shape the future of the token and the larger ecosystem.
