27.86% of the total token supply (139,300,000 CMFI) is dedicated to the Ecosystem Incentives Fund which has now been put under the control of the Compendium DAO via the "Governance Fund".
This token allocation is still vested in quarterly increments which can be found in under the CMFI token information documentation.
The purpose of the Governance Fund (aka Ecosystem Incentives Fund) is:
Fortify Compendium DAO governance and equitably distribute voting rights to stakeholders committed to the growth and welfare of the ecosystem.
Foster the sustainable expansion of value-congruent initiatives and communities in the Compendium Collective and greater ecosystem/communities through incentivization.
All Governance Fund usage/grants should align with the following objectives:
Scale and grow usage of the greater : The Governance Fund should support the development of current and future applications to increase the usage of applications in the Compendium Collective.
Support initiatives to grow unique users within the ecosystem: The Governance Fund may also support members of the Compendium Collective, first-party & third-party protocols by incentivizing user growth initiatives.
Examples of grants aligned with the above objectives may include:
Funding campaigns on applications like .
Retroactive funding of requested updates or changes to the platform.
Grants applicable to the expansion of the .
Sponsorship of hackathons & boot camps for PENDAX and open-source tools for Compendex.
Builder/development grants to support future/current work on new projects.
Support the creation of community-created technical content & user-educational content.
Support further developer DAOs that may evolve or sub-DAOs related to Compendi-Pigs etc.
Grants for liquidity mining incentivization experiments.
Providing grants targeting current/future usage of Compendium Collective applications.
Support for carrying out the Collective's vision of equalizing opportunities through tooling.
